SCP FlowerPod - Branding Brief:
Southwell Care Project is a registered charity to educate adults with learning disabilities.‘Flowerpod’ is a new enterprise to raise money and aware-ness for the charity. It is an environmental education centre, cultivating plot and shop for growing/selling flowers. Create a brand identity, sta- tionery and seed/flower packaging.

Response:
Logo created to show growth and nuturing which reflect the ideologies of the charity.
The brand wanted to have a local, natural and organic feel. The type is approachable with a non corporate feel.
The outcomes included info on the charity so that it could have more reach within the community and promote more volunteers.

Outcomes include:
Brand identity, brand stationery, posters, postcards, seed packets, flower wraps, starter kit, potato sacks and egg boxes.
See it in full HERE. Thanks :)

Finally getting things wrapped up as I finish my final year at the end of the week. Here’s another project that has been lurking around for a while now, hope y’all enjoy.
It can be seen in full on my behance HERE.

Elmwood - Brand the Uninteresting:

Brief:
You have randomly selected a word from a hat. It will either be a service, object or occupation. Your task to to create a brand for it - Funeral Home

Response:
With people having a more relaxed attitude towards death I created a brand name and identity for a funeral home ‘Last Orders’ The tone of voice is casual, friendly and based on the idea of having a chat down the pub and sorting your last orders and wishes.
I also developed a concept to preserve a person’s memory after death as our digital lives can often be lost after death. This would ensure that personal memories could be shared in a enclosed space for family and friends.
Key materials are leather and wood both associated with funeral and pubs environments.

Outcomes included:
Brand name and mark, 32 page funeral planner, interior ideas and an online memorial concept ‘After Hours’ and leaflet.

Some #design ideas for current #branding project.

Took a few pics of my screen & lino printed A&F #design. Enjoy

Had a day in the print room now I finally had some time and some pennies to screen print. After trying to line up various two colour prints I worked out a better way to do it - after I made the screen but alas, it is done. Shall photograph them and get them sorted for my portfolio this week hopefully.

Things noted from today, the signs around the print room are scary, yellow ink on most colours is bullshit and never lift the screen up then put it back down :)

Enjoy.

After working up the illustrations a bit further I think I have sorted this project now :) see more of it HERE

Brief:
Make a Stand - Talking and general bad behaviour in the cinema.

I love the cinema but I hate people. It’s an issue that I felt needed addressing even if some people think this is not an issue, 85% of cinema-goers would like to see a standardised set of rules for cinema behaviour. I created a promotional piece based on the idea of etiquette whilst still keeping it quite fun and light hearted as it’s understood that it isn’t a serious issue to most. First world problem.

Outcomes included:
Article, magazine spread, editorial illustrations and etiquette guide flyers.

I’ve been absent again. Third year is busy but I don’t seem to be very productive. Tough times. I’ve started to come through this shitty stage an coming out the other side, lack of shorter deadlines isn’t doing me any favours I think. Over Easter I am going to be totally finishing all my projects so my head is sorted for my final project.

Plan. I’ve already pretty much redone my first project and got all my concept boards sorted so looking promising. Just screen printing some bits and sorting my portfolio. Anywho, here’s some bits I have been doing, turning my hand to some editorial design and illustrations. Hopefully I’ll have it sorted and everything will be fine.
